She lives with her son in a picturesque town near the sea. There is nothing more inspiring to her than the wonders of nature. The colours, the flowers, the sky and the shapes of sand… Cultural arts from distant lands also inspire her, such as old ornaments and fabrics.
All her designs are hand drawn. As a little girl she was always busy drawing and could sit behind my desk for hours. Today it's pretty much still the same! It just brings her peace and happiness.
In 2008 Masja graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. After obtaining her Masters in Fine Arts at the Sandberg Institute, she started making her first coloring books for adults. Now she has turned it into my own business. It makes it possible for Masja to practice her passion for drawing and design every day. How great is that!
Besides coloring books I also design wall decorations, fabrics, birth announcements and she sometimes also works as a freelancer.
